I don't have much opportunity to work over the summer since my kids are also home. I did sign up for Rover last summer and was able to make some easy extra income. It didn't make me rich by any means, but as far as side gigs go, getting paid to hang out with puppies is hard to beat.

I’ve taken on admin jobs that only need a few hours a day. That way, I can spend the afternoons outside with my family.

Ours runs 4 weeks and sometimes there is a 3 week one in July too.
It completely depends on your skill set. You could tutor, nanny, house sit, day trade, etc. You could create your own summer school with a few other teachers.

I love working summer camp. I always say I work 10 months to get to camp!
