I was recently offered a Zoom interview. I had 10 slots to choose from. I took the first slot available. Three were one day earlier this week and the rest are next week. Does it look good (or desperate, lol) on my part that I took the first time or should I have waited until next week so that I would be fresher on their minds when choosing a candidate? Also, do interviewers still appreciate a handwritten note after an interview?

If you weren’t a creative what job would pursue? I got laid off in April and have only had 1 interview :/

Need advise: Looking to calculate our fire number and not sure whether to consider the mortgage payment into it or not.
HHI: 410K, monthly expenses: 7.5K (3K mortgage, 1.5K daycare, 3K everything else), no car EMI. We are mid-30s and 2 kids, 4 &1. expecting daycare expenses to go down in 2 yrs. And mortgage should be done in next 7. I intend to RE in next 10 yrs.

I was offered a position at another firm with a 20k raise. I would be working with their 1040 team on high net worth individuals. They have a busy season for their extensions from Aug - October. I currently work at a small firm where we work on small to medium sized businesses. We do write up work and book keeping throughout the year and come tax season strictly focus on individual tax, and the various different entities we work with. At the small firm we network and bring in our own clients

Calling all the folks in the SaaS selling space. I genuinely want to know what makes having SaaS selling industry experience so unique? Here’s a little background: I was negatively impacted during the pandemic when working at a hospitality SaaS company as a CSM. Now I’m trying to work my way back into the SaaS space as either a sales professional or CSM but I feel like my six years of selling experience is being discounted because it wasn’t in the SaaS industry.
