Easily a waste of time. Because of daily meetings on Wednesdays & Thursdays I have almost 5 total hours of meetings. Mostly to discuss things we could have pinged each other about.
Waste of time. If it can be handled in an email, do us all a favor and keep it simple.
Ugh… such a waste of time !!
My daily/weekly meetings have been substantially pared down. I now have a daily standup with my team, the rest of our scrum ceremonies, and a handful of weekly/bi-weekly/monthly meetings with the org I roll into. I actually think we removed too many meetings and didn’t create effective communication substitutes. I’m in the dark outside of my immediate scrum team.
It really depends. I hate them, especially because they start at 8am and I prefer not to speak to people until at least 10am. But it's necessary for our projects. There's so many moving parts and details that it really helps. Even though I'll never get used to it.
Absolutely a waste of time. I don't think that we need to update each other daily. Most times the meeting are just repeating what we said in the meeting before.
I want them to be weekly. We don't have them daily, thank God. Just Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I even think that's too much
I'm used to it at this point. 70% of my job is meetings . I meet with them team I oversea as well as execs. I try to keep them short and just want to make sure everyone is on the same page
Meeting are useful. I just wish they were like 30 minutes. Sometimes meeting go on almost 2hours
