Here’s the question…
Stay in my current Product Manager role at General Motors (avg salary, not learning/progressing PdM space, good wlb, lots of work but lots of politics, messy process and conflicts with other teams) OR move into a Senior PdM at Mapbox (higher salary, RSUs, unknown culture, unknown wlb, etc.). Mapbox is intriguing because I feel like it will help me grow as a product manager, but I’m a little worried this may be “grass is greener on other side” scenario.

What salary to expect being a first time product manager, but having around one year experience in a sales role, in Ontario?

What should be the fixed salary of product manager with 3 year of experience in a well funded startup?

Tips on negotiating an offer? I have 5+ YOE as a software developer (1.5) and a tech consultant (3.5) and a Product Manager (0.5). Got a Product Manager offer from Visa for 140k base and 8-16% bonus for the Bay Area. Initially when I had the conversation with a recruiter around 4-5 months ago, I was desperate and I gave her a lower range (120k+) which I got raised recently because I was able to move to a product role at PwC where Im happy to stay.
