Anyone hiring at the experienced associate or senior associate level for any supply chain consulting or industry positions?
Which consulting firms are hiring for experienced Associate position? Have a friend who got laid off and looking for another job.
If I got laid off, can my friends at other firms submit me for a referral bonus to be hired as an experienced associate/staff? Or is the entire point to poach from direct competitors?
So far I’ve seen posts about EY, KPMG, and BDO’s upcoming comp reductions. Curious if other firms have made similar announcements? Can’t imagine anyone will be immune to this, just hoping no layoffs
Laid off after Thanksgiving. 54. Not done yet. Plenty to offer. In Detroit but ready and able to move anywhere. AD/CD. Hangin in there. How bout you?
Layoffs at Mekanism - any other agencies?
If anybody is being impacted by the KPMG layoffs let me know if you want to talk about new opportunities
My firm pays staff & seniors hourly, with 1.5x pay for overtime. Firm just cut our hours from the normal 58-60 down to 40 a week for the foreseeable future. Should I be concerned about layoffs?
I don’t belong in my job. I didn’t mind it when I joined in January and was interacting but as we’ve been work from home longer, the less motivation I have. I don’t enjoy the work but I’ve gotten unlucky with my teams too, and can’t remember the last time my manager praised me without a critique. Maybe I’m just bad at my job. At this point I just am doing the bare minimum to not get fired. What do I do? Should I look for a job that I actually would enjoy doing or stick it out?
I got laid off today and need a new job asap. Would love to connect with anyone looking for a junior writer.
Sebior associate just got stealth fired from a V10 (i.e., there's no business case to promote you in October out of the associate pool because of COVID). Will likely be given a formal recommendation to look elsewhere in September but it seems clear their mind is made up. Any advice? Is there any value in considering an employment lawyer re severance etc? Not sure whether to apply now for jobs ideally starting early next year or to wait and take some time off completely.
I'm struggling - I used to love my job not only because the work was interesting, but because I truly enjoyed my coworkers. But for the last year or so, the culture has become toxic due to layoffs...
Layoff folks, how are you guys doing? I'm DREADING the upcoming busy season being a new senior handling new clients in a new company...
Are people honest with their reviews for staff? My assistant only supports me and someone else so I feel like if I go off, it’ll be obvious it’s from me and I’ll have to face repercussions from her. It sounds ridiculous but as most of you know, apparently being incompetent as an assistant is not enough to get fired.
Got laid off this week—any freelance opportunities floating around for an Art Director? I’ll literally take anything at this point.
Getting to that point where I need to balance between being shitty at my job so I get rolled off, but not shitty enough to get fired
I'm an optimistic person, but it is so hard when everyone around me is so negative. What's the worst that happens, you get fired and you go work somewhere else.
Was a Junior AD at an experiential agency before layoffs w/ the goal of working at a “traditional” agency. Looking for advice and feedback on how to improve/add to my book with that in mind.
Agency laid off all producers, is now having BA produce. BA texts laid off employees for vendor recs. 🙄 (the eye roll is at the agency, not the BA manager who didn’t sign up for this...)
So, I gave my agency an advanced 4 week notice of my departure so they could have time to plan for my replacement and the team wouldn’t be left in a lurch, and now they’re deciding that my last day will be two weeks earlier. That doesn’t feel right. It feels like I’m being fired for quitting. An agency full of good people you thought were your friends turned out to be all about business and numbers. Lesson learned. Never give an advanced notice.
Ralph Watson fired from CP+B.
What should my wife (33F) and I (30F) be for halloween? We’re having a halloween party so it has to be hilariousss
What is the market like for entry level data scientists/ data analyst. I have a graduate certificate in data science and have spent the last 27 years as a mainframe dev so I have great SQL skills.
How do you figure out how much you are worth?
Any advantage to telling google I’m also interviewing elsewhere? I obviously would prefer the google job
Hello everyone I am working in a healthteach company and having experience more than a year in sales. Completed my graduation in pharmacy. I am looking for a change, it will be great if anyone can refer me.
What’s the expected salary for a claims processor with 15 years of customer service experience? I’m ready to branch out and make more money. My salary is currently around 46k with overtime available. Any tips or recommendations are appreciated.

How bad does it look if I quit my job in October and but am applying round 2 to T10 schools? I have been hearing mixed answers, some people it looks bad to adcoms but then some other people say they don’t care.
YI - I just bought it ... thanks to MGNI guy.
Apparently there may be a dip on Inauguration Day just like there has been historically (JFK assassination but recovered quickly). Should I wait until Jan 20 to put 10K into various ETFs/stocks for that dip?

Hello all, I received an email offer from IQVIA with only salary details. How long they take to release the official offer after this? It's been a week that I accepted the email offer and more than a month that I cleared all the rounds. Frustrating to wait
I am a Project Manager in a fintech domain with 3YOE in the same field , in a process of PR, kindly refer if anyone come accross such opportunity
Thanks in advance!!!
Our CEO is running a meeting with managers around expectations and upcoming initiatives. It was also brought to my attention that he will be informing them that if they wouldn’t retain someone from leaving / they aren’t A++ players, then we should fire them. I wholeheartedly disagree with this approach. I’m noticing many leaders taking the approach of only wanting pp“HiPos” but nothing is wrong with a B- employee who might just need additional development and training (which is a managers job).
How have you tried to avoid the realities of ageism? I’ve deleted dates from my schooling on LI and even dyed my graying mustache before video interviews.
Is this legal? My spouses company just decided to change their comp structure for account managers. It was base + comm, now it’s commission only but nothing changed, OT commission is the same, didn’t get more points, just took away the base pay and said work harder basically. So now they have to worker harder to get $50k they were already making. (Not a decision based on employee performance, they’ve been crushing it. I think the company is just trying to save money they overspent else where)
