Companies don’t check 26 AS. So don’t worry . Check the PF statement, that should not have dual entry. Also get your 26AS rectified if you didn’t get the amount . Easy steps . Don’t panic.

Wipro just checked Form 16 of previous company (previous than wipro) and check bank statement of 1 year and check salary slip of last 3 months.
I don't exactly remember about PF service history. I guess they didn't not check PF service history at that time.
At the time of joining wipro will check only the latest company and PF service History. But after joining wipro, once you get a project, the project team conduct one more background check. That is totally depends upon client.
But for my client bgv, they checked only latest company and Wipro's joining letter and Offer letter.

Wipro BGV, they will check current company experience certificate and others. They do not ask for PF history, etc.

No, i didn't do moon lighting. I joined a company in 2022 and left it after a week of time, since I got a better company offer. The old company claimed in my form 26AS saying they paid salary the next month (Actually I didn't receive a single rupee).
Finally in my form 26AS, there are two salary disbursements in same month. This is giving issue as dual employememt, but I didn't do.
Thank you very much. I raised a grievance in income tax portal to rectify it. They are not responding. Following up with them. LTI Mindtree and few other Indian based companies are checking for Form 26AS for dual employememt with digiverifier.
Why they need bank statement . That’s completely personal and confidential . They can check ITR if they have any doubt regarding income .
Your UAN number shows the complete history . It’s not possible that company name will not show up. If they never deposited your PF then it’s a different case. So basically you shared your bank statement which has every damn detail of your personal life. Should have declined .
I have never shared and no one has asked till date.
Yes, Companies are verifying bank statements if we do not have PF account. Even one of my friends also told it, it happened in his case.
