One of the best decisions you’ll make
What building? Just make sure it’s on the Southwest side closer to the brownstones/Barclays (eg like the Ashland) vs closer to downtown. I currently live in Ft Greene and LOVE IT. Seriously underrated area.. dekalb restaurants are great, Fulton/Lafayette also have some good eats and couple bars.. the park is so good, only really has locals around, it’s a great size and has a ton of events and farmers market on Sat. BAM is also really cool when open, Jimmy Fallon was there a yr ago for a stint on BK. You also have WF, Trader Joe’s and Wegmans for the grocery trifecta
Olea food is amazing and evalina brunch is where it’s at.
Edit : you cannot go wrong with any of the restaurants between Cumberland and Vanderbilt. Amazing food all around.
Would be my top pick for next neighborhood! Great scene for couples. Farmer’s market, strolling, Greenlight Bookstore, Miss Ada is to die for, French Louie’s Weds night half-off bottles before a visit to BAM... Enjoy!
Awesome, this is so nice to hear! Thank you!
How many bedrooms and for how much? Love the area. Farmers market on weekends is lovely
I adore farmer’s market so I was really excited about that! It’ll be down the block from us
Lived there and loved it. Close to the city, great restaurants precovid and nice park. Only downside are the projects nearby, but honestly it was barely something I noticed once I lived there.
Nothing but great things to say about the area!
It’s really nice. Close to the neighborhoody things, close to the conveniences (wegmans, Trader Joe’s, target, etc.), and close to parks (ft Greene obviously but also prospect park not so so far)!
Love it here! Resigned for a third year a few months ago. Great neighborhood vibes, easy access to Manhattan and to other fun neighborhoods in Brooklyn
Oh yayy!! Hubs is going to view the place in person today (we’ve only done the virtual tour so far). Barring any surprises, I think we’ll sign the lease tonight!
I live here and I absolutely love it
