Graduating this December and have 2 offers thus far, and not sure which route to choose. My first offer is District manager position ALDI, which includes 100k salary which slowly increases each year. My second offer is a technical sales position keyence, which is around 85k total compensation. Which option do you think will pay better in the long run, and which will provide me with more opportunity moving forward.

F (I’ve realized I can barely hear others when there is background noise so loud restaurants etc - but haven’t done anything to address the situation. In my early 30s and not sure next steps but figured I need some type of aid).
I’ve been avoiding this… but realizing i’m the only one asking “what did you say” repeatedly at busy venues, etc. Like you, I’m at the point where I would dread having a business discussion at a really busy restaurant. Did your audiologist give any info about long term progression etc? Obv we are all different but I sound like you, and am curious if you learned anything broad/useful from your visits.
I don’t have personal experience, but can say the latest hearing aids are super subtle and high tech, connecting to your phone. My mom lost one in the woods on a hike and was able to use her phone to pinpoint its location in a piles of detritus.

I do! They were like $6,000 and insurance doesn’t cover but you can use your HSA. By the way no one notices them, you can’t see them when you wear your hair down but I don’t think anyone even notices when I wear my hair up, in case you are worried about judgment. I don’t have terrible hearing but like you I was getting lost in social situations and I’m glad I finally got them.
Nope I just got the ones my audiologist recommended. There’s definitely an adjustment period but I’m very happy overall.
