Remember one thing - If some companies are laying off employees then it's equally a good chance for the other companies to get talented resource . Here things will remain balanced mostly and there's no need to fear . Not all companies do layoff at the same time. You may end up getting a 100% hike too. Just believe in yourself and focus on your skillset, time to brush up and pull up your socks. Stay safe , stay positive !

I'm the only associate on a case with two partners. The elderly, managing partner thinks that a party has had three prior wrecks, I'm confident that the party only had one. He keeps telling witnesses/experts about his multiple prior wrecks, and I keep correcting him afterwards in private, but he keeps making the same mistake.

Need help on how I transition my career from Audit to Management Consultancy. I have only completed BCom and ACCA (UK Chartered Accountant) and have worked for over 2 years at EY.

2 years of public accounting in tax. How much in salary should I expect for the industry roles in Midwest cities (cities like Cleveland, Cincinnati, Detroit, and Pittsburgh) ? Is $75k base too much? Trying to figure out what to communicate with the HRs.

I’m looking for some resources and/or recruiters to help me find a job in Houston. I worked in Big 4 audit for a year and 4 months. I am currently working in global finance/accounting for a major record label. I would like a financial analyst, staff accountant, or an internal audit position (ordered in preference from most wanted to least). Thoughts on leaving PA primarily due to the metrics based culture (utilization, dtc, use of X digital tool, revenue, margin, etc).
