Had an idea to start a company where people can borrow from and lend their clothes to people nearby for a small fee (basically a 2 sided marketplace) and want to validate that people would use it. Best way to MVP this without an app? I live in a city

Question - how would you ensure the clothes are washed and clean?

smart

Who sets the cc value?

Check out similar ideas like "rent the runway" and see why their business model works and how you can borrow from it and apply it to more casual wear in a "marketplace"

Learn about other marketplaces and how they work especially in regards to liability.

You wanna not skim liability issues in being a marketplace.

You can also start it off as a Facebook group but ultimately you'd need an app or website

Rent the runway also cleans their own stuff to make sure things are done properly.

You also need to know how to avoid scams and what's the min hold on a credit card you'd need and whether the value is set by the individual or by the company

One more fun thing. Look at the car renting startup where you rent out your car and figure out what works and why

I work for a car renting startup 😅 Maybe the one you’re alluding to

Wondering what other value you’d offer with this service to get people to pay? We have a Facebook buy nothing group that does this for free (traveling boxes of clothing per size).

Anyone available to review my resume/guide me through this job search? I’ve been applying places for the past 6 months and am not getting responses. Unemployment has run out and I’m starting to crumble under the pressure of bills. My experience the past 6yrs has been in smaller companies where my role was never just one thing but instead spread over multiple departments, so I’m struggling to narrow down how to convey the vast experience I do have.

I’m in my 2nd month as an internal hire (formerly a Pricing Analyst). I did negotiate for a higher salary when I made the transition receiving nothing but the promise of a conversation to reevaluate in three months.

I’ve been able to hit the ground running, picking up the slack, and have delivered tickets as if I was already a Business Analyst.
