Had completed all my rounds with Jio for an SDE-2 only to hear that there is a hiring freeze. Why did they even start the interview process and waste my time if this was the case? Apparently they're applying for an ipo hence the cost cutting.

One of my big hang-ups with biden tax plan is raising corporate tax across the board. Why raise taxes on businesses when we've just found out how fragile it is to be able to run a small business?Why not at least propose some kind of progressive corporate tax structure if you want to raise taxes on corps?
