I did the same thing last year because I just wasn't making a decent living as a freelancer due to taxes, lack of benefits, etc. I worried about my creativity being stunted and losing some of my skills. But at the end of the day, it's a job. You can maintain your creativity outside of working hours while paying your bills.

This is a great point. Creative work under pressure of a job does end up being just a job. So are you happy now? How do you feed your creativity outside of work?
Not boring, but definitely different. There is a deeper focus on a single project and getting to see its full lifecycle, and the impact you can have has been surprisingly rewarding.
It can be a great thing to include in your portfolio. I see people present more of a case study. Here is the brief, process, and outcomes. You show the whole process instead of just the finished project.

Yes awards matter where I am. They’re actually part of our targets and contribute to our annual bonuses. We have a large portfolio of brands so I love that if I get sick of working on something, I know that I’ll be jumping to a totally different brand next. There’s a lot of appetite for stunts and super creative OOH where I am, which I find fun
