Hi fishes,

I am a strategy consulting enthusiast from a middle class family. Don't have the financial stability to take a loan for an MBA and hence had to drop some renouned admits this year (Think top IIM's) due to family circumstances. I still dream big and request you to provide insights for my research about MBB:-
1) Average expected package of an associate
2) Experience expected at ZS to get hired as associate (not backend)
3) Good books to upskill and ace the consulting case interviews

Hi everyone, applied for an investment consulting internship few weeks back.
It's a client facing job, but it might come at a later stage of a job, maybe after finishing my internship and getting a job offer.
I'm interested to know what is the must develop skills, must take courses or must read books to get insight, develop the required knowledge and skills for the position. I majored in business management finance and currently preparing for CFA level 1. Thanks in advance ☺️

Getting ready to pitch a plan for consulting services to be offered by our firm. I have initial thoughts for what I've seen as a need in our market. Is there one or two things that you wish your clients would work with accounting consultants to improve? Or if you are working at a company, one or two things that you struggle with when it comes to closing your books timely every month, being prepared for audits, or even information you struggle to get out of your system in a usable manner?
