My mom would be undergoing a major surgery which would cost us somewhere between 17-20 lacs. Want to know if personal mediclaim can be used over and above the corporate mediclaim?
Like is there any option to club both for the same surgery? Tried reaching out to the TPA but they are of no help, saying they will be able to tell after the patient is admitted.

I need some advise. I am a relatively new adjuster. I have 7 years of experience in the insurance industry, a bachelors degree in Business and an AINS from the institutes. I currently work as a GL adjuster with a TPA. I have seen a high turnover rate on my team in my short time at this position. I received maybe 2 hours of formal training and the rest has been learn by fire, even with claims in litigation. It’s a nightmare. I can’t get 5 minutes of my managers time a day. Would you leave?

I am 29 weeks pregnant and thought to check with TPA but came to know that the network hospital is under GIPSA. My doctor refused to provide me claim approval as its under GIPSA & she wont get anything for the procedure whether i will hv c-sec or normal delivery.. What will I do ? ATL - extremely efficient and the plane train comes often and fast. ECCO and One Flew South are both great airport restaurants.
TPA - super easy to get in and out of. The hub and spoke design is also very efficient. Terminal A is one of the most comfortable terminals out there with all of the high top tables and ample electrical outlets.

I have been a paralegal or legal assistant since 2010. I have worked for small and large firms and a TPA. I've worked in L&E, PI, and ID. Billing hours gave me nightmares. Right now I'm in a hybrid paralegal/LA position where I'm responsible for all of the docketing and supporting the managing partner and 1 associate and their 90+ ID caseload. I make a lot of mistakes everywhere I work. I feel so incompetent. Should I just abandon this career path?

I’m trying to get a raise/promotion. I’ve been at my job 3.5 years as an Exec Asst to the EVP/CIO and EVP Sales for a tpa. I’ve only gotten small merit raises so far, about 1.9%. Would it be appropriate to ask for a promotion even if they had to make up a new title, like Exec Asst II ? I was told I could get a 2-4k pay bump but I feel underpaid to begin with. I make just under 43k and have 7 years experience and a bachelors degree. I was thinking 55k is more in range with the current market.

Recently I had to admit my father in emergency in a hospital which is not in Deloitte USI network hospitals for cashless transactions. However, once he was stable we shifted him to the hospital with TPA and cashless was taken care of. My question is how can I get reimbursement for the treatment done at the former hospital? I tried calling the Bajaj Allianz team and the call center guys over there are really clueless about the process to claim such amounts. Who should I get in touch with?

Dear fishes, please help. I joined hcl 10 days back. After joining neither the recruiter, her manager nor my reporting manager took my call during medical emergency. Some how I managed cashless mediclaim by pushing TPA but had to pay 50% of the total due to bad medical policy of HCL. Should I resign or abscond hcl and join some other company ?
