PM if you need a Fidelity Referral!

I was hired into a contract position but still want to work as an advisor for a few clients. Does anyone do this and give me an idea on what to expect?
What companies do you youse for products/investments and what CRM tools do you use etc

Curious about career opportunities with Fidelity. I am a banker/relationship manager at an investor center branch for a BB. My main responsibilities are handling banking/lending for a book of business, discovery convos with prospects, creating financial plans and referring business to financial advisors. I have a series 6/63, life accident health insurance license. My goal is to get to a position as an FA. What fidelity roles would be most logical to apply for? Right now I make about 75-80k.

I'm a 32 year old career changer (infrastructure PM) in pursuit of successfully passing the CFP exam. I'm having a hard time finding an entry-level fiduciary-path position within one of the big box firms. Does anyone know who and when these companies will be hiring? Thanks!

Financial solutions advisor position in tampa salary?

I am currently looking for a remote position as I want to move out of retail banking. I don't have a set timeline. I don't mind cold calling & I have excellent customer service skills. I also have experience managing a team fiduciary accounts and small business banking.

I currently have my SIE, 6, 63, Life & Health.

Thoughts on the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Associate Role? Is this a path to FA through MS? Has anyone heard anything about this position? Pros and Cons?

When hiring an associate or junior advisor, does anyone have any input as to how to structure pay to be competitive but not so much of a salary that they’re not hungry?

How many years does the typical paraplanning role last before transitioning to a servicing advisor? Current firm initially stated 2 years during interview process, since joining have heard them say anywhere from 3-5 years. Had about 2 YOE before joining.

Anyone here work in a RIA with office in Miami or La Angeles areas that are hiring?

Am I dumb for wanting to move into wealth advisory (being miserable in my current position) just a a recession is around the corner? In other words, I feel like these positions are more sensitive to recessions and I will be the first in line as I bring the least amount of value given my lack of experience.

Anyone know how much does Financial Advisor Associate make at Morgan Stanley? I’m seeing 71k base + 51k additional pay. I was offered a FAA position but right now but I just started as a Relationship banker at Chase 2 months ago. I’m in the process of getting my licenses at chase( series 6,63 and life and health). I just passed my SIE. Any advice would be much appreciated!

How many people have actually pivoted from RB role to wealth management private banker ? I just started my role as a RB and feels like I’m already regretting it lol. I worked at Morgan Stanley as CSA for 2 yrs and I def like client servicing more than retail banking lol at the moment I’m getting my license SIE, series 6 and series 63.

Anyone else still waiting to hear back from Citibank Wealth Management about a position you interviewed for a month and half ago?

Anyone here work in an assistant-type role? I am a registered sales assistant so I have my series 7, and I also have the 63 and my life & health license. I was an advisor but I’m a career changer so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn, etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k… I have a gut feeling that I’m not being paid market value but its tough to find comparable salaries. What are your thoughts? Any advice?

How much should a series 24 holder make yearly? And is it easy to find a job once you get that license? I want to move into a leadership position as fast as possible

I’m an associate in wealth management. I didn’t get a compensation increase when I got this position (moved from a different department 65k) and today I had the weirdest call with one of the higher ups. He essentially told me my title had changed officially in HR ok thanks bye… and I was left there like ????? What about the salary adjustment? I am so tired of getting taken advantage of because I’m not a negotiator guru. If you work in wealth management as an associate what is your salary?

I am a year into a financial advisor training program. I am currently in the first tier. Feeling burnt out, and had a massive change in my home life. My husband was just promoted to a global position at a major oil company that requires weekly travel. We have decided that my quitting is the best course of action. I am on a team- what is the protocol for client facing positions? Do you give 2 weeks notice? Will they ask me to reimburse any training expenses? I appreciate any insight.

I recently accepted a position from BoA in the “financial advisor trainee program.” I will be able to get my Series 7 and Series 66. I live in SF Bay Area and this is my first position at a bank. The pay is 60k while getting licenses (4 months) and it will go up to 65k + quarterly bonuses. I have an undergrad in International business and recent grad with my MBA. I have 3 years experience in sales. Is this a good offer?How much to expect from quarterly bonuses at BoA? Any advice on the position?

Currently I’m at JP Morgan as a RB , getting my SIE, 6 and 63 but I just found out I’m unable to get the Series 7 unless the role requires it. I like that Fidelity has some positions are WFH. My question is should I stay with JP Morgan for a year ( don’t have to pay back my licenses) or just apply Financial Service Rep as Fidelity sponsors Series 7, 63 and CFP. I’ll be taking a pay cut Currently 73k salary including incentive at JP and Financial Rep at Fidelity 50-60k salary.

Is anybody familiar with the “Wealth Advisor” role for “Schwab Wealth Advisory?” Formally known as “Private client advisor” for “Schwab private client services” Interested to know if anybody has been in the role before or knows anything about it and if there’s room for growth. I have been in the industry for 6 yrs now. I have been offered a position with Fidelity as a PC. Currently an advisor in the bank channel. Anyone have advice on moving into this role?

I am a licensed private banker in the Pittsburgh area- series 6/63. 34 yrs old, changed careers 2.5 years ago. I would like to eventually move into an FA role. I am curious to hear if there are firms or banks in the area or surrounding areas that hire associates to partner with experienced FAs that eventually go on to build their own book of business. I am a fast learner, not afraid to work hard. I've heard of banks that support these partnerships but do not see many job postings.

Would anyone happen to have more information about the Investment Center ADFA, Remote Financial Advisor position w/PNC? I am most interested in the base salary/commission structure. I am in a licensed banker role right now and trying to feel out if this would be a good way to work into PNC Investments in lieu of a traditional branch Financial Advisor position. My thought is this could be a decent way to build a foundation of clients and then transition to a branch role.
