Have anyone ever experienced male bosses assuming the absolute worst of you for no reason? I asked for more ownership on a project where the client only selected my solo ideas to move forward and got accused of being uncollaborative and trying to remove credit from the other team. He changed his tune once he realized I just wanted to lead and was happy to have the other team support. But really made me wonder why he jumped to that conclusion immediately, it’s making me nervous to lead on this.

Anyone else extreme ? Love the fit life and sometimes will do 2 a days and be ok with eating one meal, but other times will spend the day barely moving and eating on my sofa. Can’t escape fatty life

I realized a slow pace at work is really bad for me. A couple years ago I was experiencing burn out from my fast paced job supporting transactions, and believed by moving to a slower job in a lower cost area, I would be sailing off to the sunset. Wrong, I spend weeks following up with other teams, often times they forgot what we discussed, so I spent 50% if the time reminding them of the topics and next steps. I spend most of my time writing memos no one will read.

I’m 40 and recently transitioned to UX/Product Design. I completed a bootcamp, continue to improve my skills. I network, have coffee chats, attend virtual events, iterated my portfolio and resume. Everyone that I’ve spoken too so far say that I’m doing everything right and that my non-traditional background is an advantage. So why am I still unemployed? The few interviews that I have had, feedback has been I don’t have enough experience. I’m at a loss!

After graduating with my MBA with a focus in project management, I moved organizations to go from an EMR education manager to a full time project manager specializing in EMR implementation projects. I’ve found that although I enjoy the work- changing organizations and roles in a remote world was harder than I anticipated. Weekly Hot take. Accessibility=/= easy mode. I know it would take alot more time and resources to develop but more games sould come with accessibility features like color blind mode and maybe a bullet time for jumps. I am not a person with disabilities but i believe Celeste did a pretty good job at adding some of these features. I know it's hard to account for every type of disability but we can at least start with the most common ones.
