Fintech or Bank - both Data Analyst in Internal Audit and same compensation/benefits

Is it beneficial to have health insurance from both spouses, vs choosing the better one and opting out of the second? Why/why not? This seems like a silly question, but it’s our first time with both of us being staff in a decade. We have a kid, if that affects your answer.

Maybe a dumb question but if someone vests in a pension are they still able to rollover a lump sum into an IRA? Or is it too late? Have a client who keeps blowing me off to get documentation...CONT

Hello! I’m a clinical healthcare worker and am currently working on a master’s in finance to pivot to healthcare consulting.

I’m trying to get an internship next summer (I have the time off work) but am having difficulty finding internships for non-MBA master’s degree candidates. (I have a clinical MA and doctorate & it’s been an auto-reject from analyst internships.)

If I had a traditional IRA before being employed in a 401k eligible role, can / must I roll that IRA into the 401k or can I leave the accounts separate without deleterious tax consequences?

I've been in the group for years and transitioned as a senior so can share the positives and negatives.

If you do billable work on a given PTO/vacation day, do you still count that day as vacation? Or do you get that vacation day "back"? Or do you only get the part that you billed "back"? (Or some other option.)

I completed my HR discussion in capgemini one week back. My HR told she will send mail with a amcat test link. But till now i didn't receive any such mail(6 days passed). Am i rejected or will it take some time to send mail?

How do you hire for a role that fluctuates? I currently am the designer + support specialist @ my job. Sometimes support takes up all my time and design projects get pushed back. I have technical writing experience, but I don’t have experience with clinical studies or clinical trials. Does anyone have any advice on how I can gain more experience in this field? I am pursuing the AMWA Essential Skills certificate and am working on a master degree, but any other information would be greatly appreciated!

Has anyone left healthcare and is now really happy? I’m an MSN, RN with 12 years hospital experience. I’m burned out and tired of making crap pay. I have an opportunity outside of healthcare that would pay more and challenge me in new ways that I haven’t experienced before. It’s a total shift that would really heal my work-life balance, job satisfaction and budget. My only fear is that I would not be using the license and degree that I worked so hard for. I would appreciate any input!!!!
