I’ve done some soul searching of late and established I’d love to be offered a FTE role in my current company. I think this is partly due to never having had a full time job which I’ve enjoyed and which have valued my contributions. I think this is due to wanting to feel accepted. I know acceptance needs to start with me etc but I think redundancy and workplace gaslighting has meant I’ve never achieved growth and status in one company where I can truly grow. Anyone else has this?

Currently in finance ops group at a PE shop in Canada. In late stages of interview process w GS in NYC for similar role but at the Associate level. All indications point to an offer being imminent but I have concerns with 1) title (junior VP’s in the group have +1/-1 YOE than me, 2) base feels a bit light given I have 9+ YOE (job description says top end is US$160K)…Nervous for a change as current role is very comfy but nothing ever grows in comfort zones. Looking for GSVP salary insights bc I can’t find it in any of the usual places. Particularly interested in healthcare agency examples in NY. Any current or former GSVPs out there who can share their salary, location, and practice area? (For example, I’m an SVP, $250k, NY, healthcare)

I’m new in a dual media relations/digital role. I found myself surprised to see that the digital team actually has account editing video/designing graphics. Is this normal? Before I was at a larger agency where creative would be called in to do this work. We have a creative team at this new agency so I’m not sure why they aren’t called to support. It seems a bit unprofessional as these executives are clearly not ‘pros’ in this area of designing/editing.
