Has anyone heard or experienced going on maternity leave, then leaving shortly after returning? I'm hearing from my husband's company if he takes pat leave, and leaves shortly after returning, he'd have to repay the wages paid while out on leave. Is this only for pat leave and the person who gives birth wouldn't have to pay back as it's technically disability pay? I give massive kudos to all the parents out there juggling work and home life. But it’s starting to feel like I pulled the short stick by not having a kid.
