When do I begin adjusting? It’s been 4 months. I joined as an associate and I feel like sometimes my work is sloppy or I’m overwhelmed. I’ve gotten feedback that I’m making progress but that sounds fake. I’ve also gotten feedback that my work is sometimes sloppy. The last report I helped write had a ton of write ups on it. Feels like I’m about to get fired.

They keep asking what I’m up to/why I’m searching and really not sure how to phrase without coming off negative or desperate. Recent grad in MM FDD. I talk to the sr associate i'm supposed to be shadowing a couple times a week but he hasn't had that much work for me the past 3 weeks. He has another sr associate shadowing him. I've just been sitting around playing video games and checking my email/messages every 30 minutes. Is this normal for new hires?
