I’m a former Civil Engineer moving into Software Testing. I’ve completed a Manual Testing course and worked on an OpenCart e-commerce project with 500+ test cases across 30+ modules using Jira & Zephyr. Currently learning Selenium automation and API testing with Postman, with skills in Java, MySQL, and Jira. I’m looking for a fresher Manual Tester role, immediate joiner, eager to grow into automation. Any help or connections would mean a lot.

Advice on applying to PM jobs with 1yr APM experience?

I’ve been working as an APM at my current company for 1yr, and have basically been doing the work of a full blown PM the entire time. I’ve lead several features from start to finish and made sure to mention in my resume that I have been doing everything a regular PM does. Has anyone ever hired an APM for a PM role or done it yourself? Any tips? Advice?

My realtor looked at a unit for me, and shared the video w me. I’m interested. The unit is on MLS. Then he posted on his IG story seeking buyer. I’m kinda annoyed because now I may have competitions since he is my realtor OR should I be ok for him to do that since it’s equal playing field on MLS?

Do you find your job intellectually challenging?

So, I just fired my first employee as a manager and I'm heartbroken. He was a great, great person but after 6 months on a PIP he just wasn't cutting it skills-wise. I know he was the provider of the household and his wife didn't have a job since she was raising three young ones. Needless to say, I had to take off because I felt terrible, sick to my stomach. How do you deal with firing guilt? Is that a thing? I can't help but feeling like I did something wrong.
