Worth it? $9.68 for a LGA -> BOS Delta E175 flight upgrade from main cabin to “Comfort Plus”

First time flying with Delta and the only advantage I see here is the extra leg room. The description says complimentary alcoholic beverages but they might not even have the time to hand out anything.

I need to pay this $9.68 out of my own pocket. Not sure if it worth it for a 1 hr flight.

First time flying into BOS in years, landing at 8:30 am tomorrow, how obnoxious will it be to take the T from Logan into central square instead of doing Uber/Lyft?

How far is too far for a weekend trip?
Was thinking of driving MTL-Boston (around 6 hours). Leave MTL Friday 12pm, arrive around 6-7pm, have the full day Saturday and leave BOS 2pm on Sunday. Is it worth it? Or should I spend more time in Boston? I feel like it’s too much time driving

How are PE exits at BCG from the larger offices (NYC/SF/BOS)? I know that Bain is known for placing the best into PE associate roles, but is this usually a matter of self selection? Would someone from BCG, in good standing, have any issues recruiting for PE associate roles?

1) how long would you estimate from Deloitte office to BOS on Friday afternoon? It says 15’ on google maps, but not sure if Friday after work hours make it any worse
2) how fast can you get through security at BOS? (No TSA)

Hey BOS sales pros: Career pivot Jan. of this year, pivoting —> roughly a decade of law enforcement (I also have prior military experience / multiple deployments for anyone in that realm) to outside facilities sales. I feel I was slightly misguided on Y1 OTE, and I find myself kicking myself to a degree for not targeting tech sales. Does anyone know of any Tech companies hiring? I’m a science PhD student at a target school. Have an offer from MBB to start in 1-2 years as a generalist consultant. Absolutely no business/consulting experience. I chose an office close to the mountains for a change in location/life. Now I’m learning that some offices are lot more “prestigious” than others. Was it a bad career move to not pick NYC/SFO/BOS? Or is quality of problems more or less uniform nationally?

Comfortable salary range for single late 20s guy living in BOS?

I have an offer from Chicago office, but my gf will move to Boston next year (most likely) for her MBA. How difficult would it be to transfer from CHI -> BOS office?

Mck mid/small office or BCG/Bain BOS/NYC? Is Mck marginally better than BCG/Bain ? How do these offices differ from each other when it comes to the type of work being done? Specifically looking at emerging companies/venture capital work. The Bay has an obvious draw, but with Boston being the HQ, I would assume the same types of opportunities are available for EC/VC work? Would one office be better than the other for setting up a future in-house move to a pre-IPO tech company?

With all my flights planned on United through the end of year, I'll be only one PQF away from requalifying for United Gold Status. Is it worth an extra $89 and a few hours of my time to reroute myself to BOS on my way to LGA, just so l get the extra PQF to reach Gold? If I don't, I'll be at Silver next year, but idk what material differences are b/t Gold and Silver besides upgrades at 24h instead of 48h. Worth it?

How does NYC/Boston PE placement from Tuck compare to Booth/Kellogg (w/ pre-mba PE exp.)? I plan to apply to all 3 but plan to live in NYC/Bos post-mba and, despite the rankings, would prefer to go to Tuck if I am lucky enough to get into 2-3 of these schools

Hearing mixed opinions on transferring offices at BCG. I’ll be a summer associate at one of the smaller offices (think Detroit/Philly/NJ), but I spent my whole life in the same state as the office I will join.

I’d like to transfer to a bigger office after my internship (CHI/NY/BOS). I’ve heard that if you’re within the same region, it’s easier. However, my reason for transferring would be to experience a new, bigger city than the one I’ve always been in.

Would I be able to do this post-summer?

What’s a normal rule of thumb for how much to spend on rent in a high COL area eg BOS, NYC, SF. Of course the percentage would be different if you’re making say 100k versus 300k
