I’m currently working at BofA, but I’m not really liking the work profile and am looking to explore opportunities in Citi’s GSG Credit Analyst role.

I wanted to get some honest perspectives from people already in Citi GSG on a few concerns I have:

1. Commute (Mumbai – Borivali to BKC):
How manageable is the daily travel? Especially for a 10:30 AM shift—what’s the realistic commute time and options (shuttle vs public transport)?
2. Role & Growth:
How is the learning curve

Visiting New York next week and have a reservation at the sushi counter for lunch at Nakasawa. How rude will it be if I started working at the counter? I’m doing everything in my power to close a deal the day before but it ain’t looking good…
Normally, I wouldn’t have issues working in a restaurant, but I feel like in this setting it may be really disrespectful the chef.
And yes, I only want to eat at the sushi counter for a full omakase experience.

Any Scimitar 🐠 or folks familiar with Scimitar? A colleague at EY just accepted a role there and claims the total comp is 40% more than his total comp at EY and he was at the very top of the senior consultant pay band as an MBA hire. The folks on LinkedIn look like a bunch of former PwCers.

Received a job offer. Was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on a concern I had about it. It's an entry level position, and I don't have much experience. The billables are 2040 a year. For billable hours in civil litigation and insurance defense, is 2040 hours for a 1st year associate on the high end in this field for a small or midsize firm? It seems like most attorneys I know have minimum requirements of around 1800. The compensation is around 80k a year.

How will the US come out of covid19? As an outsider they seem at greater risk then others: expensive healthcare, no sick days, homeless people, people who wont stay home... Thoughts?

Switched firms and new firm doesn’t pay any origination% of business brought in until the total $ brought in is mid-five figures. Standard? My book is below that threshold. Old firm paid 10%.

Long story short, I regret choosing the office that I chose. I’d like to transfer to another office - is that a difficult ask? I’m licensed in the state I’d like to transfer to.
