Visiting New York next week and have a reservation at the sushi counter for lunch at Nakasawa. How rude will it be if I started working at the counter? I’m doing everything in my power to close a deal the day before but it ain’t looking good…
Normally, I wouldn’t have issues working in a restaurant, but I feel like in this setting it may be really disrespectful the chef.
And yes, I only want to eat at the sushi counter for a full omakase experience.

There’s not that much space to put a laptop. I’m almost hundred percent sure they will tell you to put it away as it will be a distraction and disrespectful to the other customers and chef. If you need to work go to the diner.
