Curious what people think would be considered reasonable pay for a VC analyst transitioning from consulting with ~2 years of experience (24, current total comp + profit sharing is around $150K)

Anyone work at EY Capital Advisors or PwC corporate finance or know what Big 4 investment banking groups’ pay (base & bonus) is like? Particularly for VP level.

My team at sweetgreen has 2 Senior Technical Program Managers roles to fill in LA + OC. Base + bonus negotiable but could be high $100s to low $200s. Equity is on top of that. DM me for a referral!

Got a healthcare hedge fund analyst offer with 150K base and up to 250K bonus. With comp increase potential but no clear path to be promoted to portfolio manager given the fund size. I have 6 YOE in consulting and a PhD in life sciences. Lifestyle is not much better than consulting. The hiring manager tried to convince me with “long-term upside” but of course cannot commit to anything given the fund is new. Thinking I should turn it down but wonder how others think

Comp review help:

M, 10YOE in consulting --> L5 program manager, $170kTC.

Base is lower than my current, TC is 20K+ but is primarily because 4yr RSU vesting.

Does this sound reasonable? I'm having a hard time deciding with the small ish bump and lower base.

I’m an associate at a regional BigLaw firm in the Midwest. I’m in one of the smaller markets for my firm, and while salary is at the top of the local market, I do work for other higher-rate markets and bill BigLaw hours. My comp is roughly 20% of my annual billables, while comp for associates in larger markets is roughly 30% of annual billables. Am I getting screwed?

I’ve long disliked the term ethics. Definitions of ethics all refer to morals. Morals are very personal and vary a lot from person to person, culture to culture. Law is how we as a society express our preferences and impose rules and restrictions on ourselves. So the question should never be about whether companies can be ethical. What does that mean? One person thinks eating meat is unethical, another thinks it’s perfectly ethical. Companies should focus on complying with the law.

I have never come across as rude as tcs onboarding team HR. . Tata Consultancy They are literally incapable of handling of a crowd of 100 people and. I am surprised how they are planning to onboarding avg of 200 people on single day. They take individual's questions and start answering with statement like can't you understand I am not here for this purpose with very rude tone and in a crowd of more than 200 people. .
