What kind of exit opportunities are you looking at with FAAS experience as a senior manager?

I'm currently a Senior Associate finishing up my MBA and I'm interviewing for a role in Corporate Strategy. I would like to discuss the salary range for this role with the recruiter. Is this recommended? What salary range should I be expecting as an internal hire? My target is 150k base for this role.
