The 19 lacs would be your fixed pay,. In case you opted for new tax regime the lta would be received monthly.
Further the basic is always lower it's the allowance section that is the major portion of salary. The structure is such
Don't worry all 19lacs would be received post deduction of tds
Same happened with me LTA is optional, you can claim it or you can opt to include in salary that's what HR confirmed me
So what happened? Didi it get included with your monthly salary?
Because there is no point of LTA in new tax regime.
So except the pf part! Rest will come to you as salary.
Current ctc ? Yoe ? Yes it will come as fixed per month
So, at the end, fixed is 16LPA or is it 19 only? I want to understand, I'm in a similar situation.
As per answers till now, CTC is infact 19 but it is combination of multiple components.( Gross 16 + LTA 2 + telephone and food 1).
If I choose new tax regime (default) then LTA will be part of my monthly Salary automatically then my gross becomes 18. And I'll have to claim telephone and food.
