It is like all other service based companies, job security will be there until you are billable later they give you 2 months time to get into the project , hikes are minimal only .

I joined CGI an year back and resigned last week. It depends on project and the manager you are going to work with. Many managers are stuck to this org since years and management trusts ONLY them. Not you. One of my colleagues, he was sent to bench showing billing as a reason and he is now asked to put down papers as there are no openings in that technology. Market is good for that technology in out side world. His tech stack is SAP BODS. no projects for SAP. if you are into Microsoft technologies or into java you will get project some how. I was under a toxic manager and leaving the org. Overall work life balance is good and I personally feel it's not the place for happening technologies like AI DATA SCIENCE etc. Think twice and take a wise decision bro.

I currently work at a medium sized firm and have about two years experience in personal injury litigation. The billable hours and lack of work life balance are really getting to me and I am looking to switch to something else out of litigation, preferably in house.
