Didn’t quite work out through campus recruiting. Only interviewed with Mck for FT and didn’t make it.
Can you apply your skills to support non-profits on the side? Not necessarily typical volunteer work, but more so pro-bono consulting.
I’d really focus your extracurriculars on things you actually enjoy doing/care about - even if it’s something like what I said above. Work is endless and there’s no point taking more on outside of your job if you don’t value it personally for the sake of getting into a top tier firm. At the very least, it’s much harder to fake enthusiasm in an interview if this isn’t the case
Seems tough to join a nonprofit board though if you don’t have much experience
