Does anyone have any advice on some type of company/ person to talk with? I know some people at Morgan Stanley but the amount is too low to work with them. Thanks!

So let’s say I meet my FIRE number but all my money is in retirement accounts....how do I retire early? By early I mean like late 30s early 40s. Wouldn’t I pay a penalty?

Incoming MBA, I have my tuition paid for and rent covered (I will be an RA). So the only thing I need to pay for is food and entertainment. Do you think 20k is enough to last me through the 2 years? I will make a little money interning in the summer, so that would be a safety valve if I blow through the 20k.

What are other folks’ student loan breakdown? I have $13k frm undergrad, $17k frm grad school, $121k frm law school for a total balance of $171k bc of interest accruing for so long. I’ll finish paying off my Bach and masters soon, but those law school loans ain’t goin nowhere no time soon smh.

Anyone ever considered declaring bankruptcy to get rid of student loans? I see that even if they are private, you still have to show undue hardship.

I currently max out my 401k, is it worth reducing my 401k contributions to save aggressively for a 20% down payment. My lease ends in July so would consider buying around that time frame. Or is it better to keep maxing 401k and just put less down and pay the PMI?
