Hi guys, I'm a recent btech graduate in mechanical engineering field, I've done 2 jobs so far and in both places I had to leave. First was a design consultancy firm, small about 50-60 employees, in kolkata. I was offered 15k per month and no allowances, pf anything. Had to leave because of delay in sallery and rent was costly, second I got into an RMC plant as operator, had to leave for because I was paying out of my pocket and there was too much workload, for 10k a month training salary

How acceptable is it to customize role title on resume? As in, if its okay to say “Product Manager and Consultant” / “Product Management Consultant” vs official tittle of just Consultant? Consultant alone doesn’t say much and I’ve been designing web/mobile apps for a few years so the customization is apt, not BS.

Is Operations paid the least at your respective firms? I was hired to a Client Service Delivery role with a heavy focus on project management. I regularly interface with leadership internally and at the client. It's a Big4 but will lowball you during offer negotiation.
It will ask you to work on multiple projects but will hardly appreciate or value your work.
They will ask you to come to the office on Sunday for business critical work and won't give any cab or food facilities.
You will be involved in multiple extra work, which you normally don't do in other service based companies. But there is no benefits/perks for that, you just end up doing extra work!!
