If a person is a top performer and can bring a lot of value (and I’m talking about senior manager level). What’s the consequence if that person is faking taxi receipt and submit for reimbursement?

SM asking big 4 for 180$ base. Just got a boutique firm asking me to contract for a 18 months. Given I have to pay my own insurance, health, benefits etc., how should I calculate a good hourly rate.

How are things at Uber? I’m an SM 5 years out from making a PPMD. Is a director role going to be a good deal? Would they have as good of a maternity leave / culture if I want to have a kid next yr

So I want to leave. I wanted to leave last year and got suckered into staying. Now I feel trapped bc my SM is on maternity leave and by the time she is back I’ll be rolling into busy season ...

Just got promoted to SM (well in Sep). Taking 16 week maternity leave in Oct. Utilization will be low (I know leave won’t account against utilization) but my utilization is low this year (contd.)

Gearing up to burn the rest of my paternity leave (11 weeks). SM on my project thinks that’s too long to take since there’s a lot of work in our pipeline and I should consider only using half of it...

Had to work 2 projects that required me to work day, night, and multiple weekends because SM relied mostly on me and the rest of my team weren't capable of delivering quality work hence more weight shifted to my plate. Few sleepless nights have been hard and I always hope it doesn't hurt my baby. Thank God, my second trimester is easier as nausea's gone by then. Countdown to 5 more weeks when this project finally where I'll be 30 wks prego, it just reminds me how strong we all are. I'm also asking the same SM to approve my maternity leave in 2 weeks and he doesn't know I'm pregnant yet (I don't show much and don't disclose unless asked explicitly because I feel shame due to being a 2nd year analyst). He always thanks me in front of partners for my exemplary work, and I will just be so proud when he finds out I managed to do all that while pregnant 💜

Potential project lined up it I'm not big on local work. SM said transport would be expensed and food I'd pay for but get a per diem. Is he blatantly lying to me?
