Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks in advance!

For what can you expect at an interview.
Can't really help you here, as I am not using this stack. But one thing that all 3 interviewers told me what they only want you to be aware of basics of the things you have worked on and more importantly you must know how to navigate project issues either using the tool you have or any other way. Basically critical thinking and problem solving over memorizing syntax. Make sure what you have mentioned in resume you should be able to explain properly, as long as you show you know your stuff really good you should be fine. they are not that much bothered atleast in my experience of you don't knowing something that is mentioned in JD. For me i had no knowledge and experience of the domain that I am going to work in but they where fine as long as I am well aware of the tools and domain I have worked on.
Generally they do 3 to 4 rounds ( it will depend on them actually). As for compensation that will depend on the role you applied for( for associates I have seen on Glassdoor and other bowls they are offering between 26 to 30 LPA), at start they will only ask for your expectations the actual number will only come after you have cleared all rounds and HR gets a go from business that they want to onboard you. ( Within a week after last round hr will tell you if you cleared interviews, and then she will check with business of they still want to onboard you if yes then they will start processing and come up with a number) so like 2 weeks later after you complete last round you will know the offer.
Yes Blackrock is very slow in its process. I had 3 rounds which almost took a month to complete some delay from my end as well to be honest but lots from their end.
