Need an advice. I just joined Genpact as Data Engineer few days back. Due to some situation I have take 7-10 days leave by mid November. This was not planned.

What should i do now? I am working for an offshore client. Is it possible to take paid/unpaid leave now just after 1 month of joining?
My presence at other place is mandatory. Please help me with suggestion.

Fish fam - quite new to all this and would appreciate your support. if I am based in a high income tax state but work on site in a lower income tax state. Can I claim the paid taxes back from my home state or do I always pay income tax based on where my home office location is?
