After 3 years of dealing with the worst firm I've ever had the displeasure of working for, I finally landed my dream gig at a small specialty firm. The people at the new firm are all SMEs featured in and contributors to the most notable business publications in the world, less than 100 employees, better benefits, unlimimted PTO, doubled my pay and landed a senior role. Keep looking for what you want and deserve. I'm happy to be forging a better path away from what I've had to endure.

Does anyone use a “career coach” not necessarily a head hunter but someone who helps you get thinking. This is potential end goals, these are steps to take in your career, these are where your interests lie, this would be a good fit you see the idea. The other side of helping find the job, negotiating salary and other services would be the nice to have but I’m looking more for the coach. If you have used them what’s your experience? Worth the cost?

Ladies! I am 29 years old and never had severe acne in the past. For the past 2 months, my face is breaking out really bad. I am trying to not stress but its getting worse. I am seeing a derm for a month but of no avail. I did get a chemical peel a while back.. not sure that's causing the acne. The worst part is the timing as I am getting married soon and really want to get rid of acne before that. Has anyone suffered with severe acne at this age and any suggestions on how to deal with it?

My dad who lives in Asia just announced that he had a medical issue. I’m starting to enter the age where I’m going to take care of him financially. It’s a $2,000 hospital bill which in the US is nothing compared to what it represents there (which he can’t afford). He’s going to be fine! Just wanted to share with this group as many of you can understand what it feels like to support your parents when they’re old, not the other way around. I feel so blessed I can help him. 🙏🏽
