Help - how do I fight claims by scammer healthcare providers?

I recently went to 2 different providers.

Dentist, made appt via Zocdoc to see a dentist that was in network. Another dentist at the location saw me instead who was out of network. I have text evidence they said it would be covered before visit. Claim was denied - asking for ~500 dollars.

Saw a specialist who’s office staff verified my insurance would fully cover the claim. Get the claim, says they are out of network. Owe 600.

Between two offers, "Associate Principal" for m&a consulting in the Healthcare industry vs a Director at a F300 company doing M&A and Partnerships. Consulting pays about 50k more. What does the future look like in consulting? I am a bit nervous jumping from from "industry side" to the "consulting side".

What is KPMG's parental leave policy for partners versus employees (MDs and below)? Trying to plan life and figure out if it makes a difference to have a child before or after one makes partner in terms of parental leave benefits. Thanks!

I’m trying to get an internship next summer (I have the time off work) but am having difficulty finding internships for non-MBA master’s degree candidates. (I have a clinical MA and doctorate & it’s been an auto-reject from analyst internships.)

Hi EY fish, what would total comp look like in excess of base salary? My understanding it would be bonus and the pension? What is the targeted bonus % for senior?

I’m currently working for a small technical consulting start-up firm. I make good money, have great benefits, and they seem very happy with the work I’m doing, so I know I could move up quickly. However, tech consulting is definitely not my dream job. I want to get into data analytics, and I have an offer from a big company to do just that. Newish to data analytics. Have some experience in power BI, sql, and R. I wanted to get some exposure to aws and saw the AWS cloud practitioner as an available course at my job. Is this cert worth it? Or should I try one of the more advanced ones ? The data analytics one for example but wasn’t sure if it would be difficult to get through as a beginner. Will it look good on my resume?

I'm considering switching my practice from tax to exec comp so that I can work remotely indefinitely. If I dislike it, do you think it would be difficult to switch back? I'm a 4th year that works in biglaw.

Has anyone made the transition from law to public accounting or tax in industry? Are you happier? I’ve been thinking about making such a move since there seems to be more remote opportunities in accounting. Advice or talk me off the ledge?
(My background: Big 4 SALT > State AG’s office (tax) > small commercial lit firm > COVID > city attorney > in-house (real estate))

New associate starting in the tax group at a biglaw firm in NYC. Would really appreciate any advice on how to be most useful/get through the learning curve!

How difficult is it to lateral to other areas of tax without prior experience in the area? (Ex: Income tax planning to estate planning, corporate tax to exec comp, or estate planning to controversy work, etc.) Assuming you have an LLM or a couple years of experience in your first tax area.
