Engage with customers, sell deep, cultivate, focus on the relationship, ask questions, be humble, be available, brand yourself.
Put yourself in your customers shoes and understand what matters to them. Product and industry knowledge, impress the customer by separating yourself from others by knowing and understanding more than the average rep. Be confident in what your selling and don’t take no until your 1000% sure you cannot be of value to that customer and even then, build that relationship for referrals or future changes. Someone’s situation can take a 100% turn, most importantly if you want to be a top performer your best work will be done off the clock….
