Hi!! Transitioning to a remote work situation and have decided to leave my Texas roots for the west coat rays! Trying to move around September of this year but would love to chat with anyone also in San Diego! I won’t know many people so even if you wanted to work remote together a day of the year that works too! I have a chocolate lab and love a good HH! maybe will start a group chat?

Our district is so lax on the students this year. With tech issues and distance learning days, we’ve gone from accommodating to enabling real quick. No penalties for late work, taking excuses for attendance, lower academic and behavioral standards... We were beginning to make so much progress on transforming our school culture, but this year is erasing that and then some. Is anyone else concerned about how to raise the expectations and students’ self-discipline back to pre-enabling levels?

After coming up through Ogilvy and later running three different in-house ad agency production arms, I’ve spent the last seven years exclusively in production and am looking to return to the agency world. Any open HOP or EP slots at agencies in ideally NYC or PHL?

Salary question: Starting to think I’m getting underpaid as I am seeing some high salaries out there and curious to know what others in recruitment are making. Currently, recruiting manager (team of 5) 100% remote for a RPO, 8+ years experience in staffing in multiple areas (MSP, HRG, Branch Manager - agency) with international experience. Education: BA & CIPD HR Management Diploma (SHRM equivalent in the UK). Living in Chicago. Salary $70k 10% bonus, been told being bumped to $80k 12% bonus.

I am an firmware engineer with 1.8 years of experience . I recently switched jobs and now working for a fairly big tech company and my base is 119k and the location is San Diego, CA.
I wanted your insights on if this is a fair compensation? Or do people of my experience get more than this? Or is it possible to negotiate after joining the company?

Out of curiosity, is consulting, esp MBB consulting not as coveted as they were several years ago? I keep seeing advanced technical (data science) skills required for many industry positions, even if the role is strategic. The traditional strategy/biz ops roles seem to become more and more selective, are typical exit paths from mbb consulting becoming more of a “red sea” situation?

I am planning to move to San Jose and looking out for salary range offered to audit seniors. I am in the middle of my CPA and just need to pass one more paper. Also I have audit senior experience with EY as contractor for 5 months and 3 years of Audit Senior experience with a mid size audit firm based in houston. Since San Jose is overly priced, I would like to get an estimate that how much EY offers in that location.

Looking for referrals for Storage Admin (SAN/NAS) for positions in India.I would appreciate any help in this regard.

Mid level Electrical Engineer in the greater Baltimore, MD area making $115k base w/ $20k sign on bonus. No yearly bonus. I started this job in April of this year. 2-3 years experience. When I onboarded they told me to expect promotion to EE III in about a year. Performance reviews coming at the end of the this year and I’m wondering 1) if my salary is on par with what I should expect 2) how to approach conversations about raises and promotion with my supervisor. Thanks for any insights.
