Do firms provide any severance pay / support if you are getting pushed out due to low chargeability?

Got laid off. Went back to my hometown and freelanced for small local shops. Was treated like some prodigal creative genius. Ego loved it.

What’s the typical severance package for a B4 equity partner? Asking for a friend. 😁

Anyone have any idea when the hiring freeze might end within AWS ProServ? I’m currently at Amazon and have a TS clearance, PMP & CSM. I come from a Big4 consulting firm with a background in Enterprise Performance. I’ll be honest and say I’m not feeling very safe in my current role with the ongoing layoffs. Instead of leaving, I’d love to go back to my “consulting roots” and join the ProServ team. I’m taking my AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam next weekend. Hoping this freeze is lifted soon.

If I apply for a role externally, what info about me (rating, salary, fired or not...) the new company can request from HR of my old company? What is HR supposed to disclose and what not?

I had a mentor tell me that when job searching it doesn’t matter to change your position/end date on LinkedIn until you start your new position if furloughed/laid off but have correct dates in your resume. I’m skeptical about this, but want to hear thoughts?

Given the 🔥 hiring market, did the layoffs 9-12 months ago cost firms more to just hire a bunch of people back? Firms paid severance back then to just now pay on boarding plus signing bonus plus training plus staffing.

1) 24 hour notice in advance of any insider trade
2) A generalized, affirmative obligation to disclose any material information
3) Insider trading policies would require shareholder approval to be adopted or amended

I’ve been asked to be a PM and Account Director in a hybrid role and now have people telling me that I’m not driving the team’s overall vision in line with client goals.
