Hey guys, Since I am working in Deloitte and right now, I am working from home. I want to go Nepal for 2 months and I want to work from there. Do I need to tell my manager or simply I can go there and start my work. Is there any obligation?
Note- I don't want to tell anyone. Since it may backfire sometimes

Everyone is human - we all make mistakes and miss things. If we didn’t, there wouldn’t be a need to review.
I’m a director with 12yoe and review work most of the time. But whenever I prepare things even I miss stuff, it’s just a fact of life being the preparer that we miss high level things and are often so deep in the details. Just human nature.
Ideally, after you’re done preparing take a step back, do something else, and then come back and do a self review. This can help catch the silly mistakes.
Check evidence of feedback. Do you get below average reviews? Then maybe consider looking. But if you’re average and get a few areas above average then you’re fine.
This was very much needed. Thank you for taking the time and responding.
Agree with above comment. In this profession there is a lot of feedback of things to fix from reviewers. One thing to look at is if you keep getting the same or very similiar review notes. Then focus on that. As we work on so many different types of work it takes a long time to build competency. I have been doing this for over 20 years and am great at c corps but would get a lot of review notes for partnerships. The variety of work is what makes this job fun but very challenging.
