How do we think Q1 was for IPG health? I know a lot of clients were revising SOWs during January and now we’ve kicked off a ton of projects that need to be in market by July/August. Anyone else?

My brand increased budget this year. Would imagine similar to 2024 in which health was the only sector of the holdco that brought in increased revenue YOY (besides tech & telecom, and still was the biggest piece of the literal pie). It's the only division that's actually bigger than its OHG counterpart (if you look at their Q4 report, obviously the overall picture is relatively sunnier, hence them being well-positioned to acquire IPG, but their revenue from health went down).

Aren’t clients always revising SOWs during this time? Feels like Jan/Feb is typically slower every year.

That being said, both of my brands are specifically ramping up like April thru EOY.

From my view, we’ve been treating every single project like it’s a pitch. It’s bonkers. Putting tons of creative teams against briefs and not really selling much in—to paying clients. This effort does not seem sustainable.

I've been searching for a new job because I know I am underpaid. I have 12+ years of experience in the event industry and seven years in the Event Tech world. I interviewed with Netflix, Amazon, and Microsoft. I went through all the stages, but I was not selected. Any advice? Has anyone taken part of the education reimbursement program? I’ve been here for 4 years and I’m thinking of obtaining my Master’s in Organizational Leadership, but I feel like with this merger, if I started the program and then there are layoffs or too many new hires, or work just becomes overwhelming, I wouldn’t be able to complete my program. I’m already wearing multiple hats when it comes to work. Does anyone have insight on how it works/what it’s like? Thanks in advance!
