Question for everyone out there, I am a business analyst and thinking about exploring new career opportunities. What are the thoughts of the job market right now for folks who are currently employed? Is it smart to try and look for a new job right now in this climate, or should I wait it out until post Covid? I feel like I might be one of the first ones let go if I go elsewhere, and I know that many people are looking for jobs due to Covid related layoffs.

I was recently laid off as a first year analyst. Looking for new consulting opportunities, but currently in a limbo stage of my career where I'm not an entry level campus hire, but also don't have 2-3+ years of experience to be considered an experienced hire. Open roles I've seen at various consulting companies have business analyst/entry level positions for 2021 graduates only...any advice/insights on how I should approach this stage of my career or companies hiring non campus, entry level roles?

I’m a 2nd year business analyst on H1B looking for opportunities. About to be laid off and struggling to get any leads or referrals. I’ve worked with Lifesciences and Tech clients and lead workstreams to collaborate with director level leadership for implementation projects. I also have experience in change management and project management roles. Would anyone be willing to help in this situation? I’m looking for opportunities in Bay Area that sponsor visa. Hello, As you may be aware of Deloitte's downsizing, I am one of the many to be laid off. Looking for opportunities in Analytics as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Intelligence. I have 7 years of expertise in applying statistics, operations research, data mining & business intelligence to address abstract business problems. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone, I was laid off a few months ago working as a Business Analyst for a well known EHR company. I have been having a pretty rough time getting interviews. For those who wouldn’t mind, may I get some feedback on my resume?

I was due for a promotion but then covid hit, and during the peak of layoffs/furloughs, I was given the run-around that we have agency wide promotion freezes, etc. Over the past month, a handful of people have been promoted. I know everyone's situation is different but I can't help feeling snubbed. How do I know whether they are genuinely trying to promote me and can't, versus them stringing me along for as long as possible? I dont want it to come to having to bring another offer to the table..

Half my team got laid off and while I’m grateful to have my job still, I feel like I’m drowning in the additional work. All of their responsibilities have been assigned to me, the most junior person on the team. When I brought up that this was a bit much for one person/didn’t think this was sustainable (hinting at the fact that some of the other existing team members should pick some of the laid off peoples’ work), team lead went off on what I’m sure he thought was an inspiring speech about...

Hi all, Finally COVID-19 caught up with me. Not health-wise but career wise. I was laid off and am looking for a job. Ple I was working as an Associate Consultant with ZoomRx in the Business Analysis team. I was handling multiple high velocity end-to-end projects. I have a total experience of around 4 years of which close to 2.5 years are in the consulting space. I intend to continue my career in the same line i.e as a consultant. Please let me know if there are any relevant openings.
