At what point in my career would my public accounting salary exceed an industry salary? Current an A3 making 54,900. In industry it looks like Senior is at 75,000. Assuming 12% annual raises in public and 3% annual in industry, it looks like maybe it wouldn’t take too long. I’ve heard industry raises are nowhere near what they are in public. Really looking for a discussion here. In industry, it almost seems like they tempt you with a big starting salary, but then soon you’ll be under public.

Looking to get some insights in PwC's bonus policies. I have an offer from PwC in their Salesforce practice and the bonus offered is a range of 27% to 35%. But they have not included that bonus % in the offer letter. For those who have worked at PwC, is this a norm? Have you seen them follow through the Bonus payout? Does the bonus % change significantly from YOY? What are the individual objectives/targets that need to be met at the Sr Manager level to earn the bonus?

Currently working as a Relationship Banker. Haven’t had no complaints with how Chase has handled the pandemic from the consumer banking side. Recently I was asked if I was interested in a Financial solutions advisor role at Bank of America. Things have slowly began to pick up at our branch and while I would like to continue my career at Chase. The bump in base salary increases as well as the earning potential. Any litigators who prefer litigating over clerking, or the other way around? I’m senior at a major appellant-side litigation firm. My boss has told me that there is a clerkship opening with a federal judge that I admire, and with his rec I would be a shoe-in. I like litigation and the opps it provides to drive change in the law, but this opp could open up some doors and give work life balance. On the other hand, I don’t know if clerking might be boring, or frustrating reading bad briefs. Thx!

Is there any way to get ahead of student loan debt once the forbearance ends? i have been paying this entire time, and was able to pay about half. the interest rates are astronomical (federal loans). What have you all done to combat this burden?
