I have to remind myself that not every task is urgent. Prioritize what needs to be done today, within the next hour, and then what can also wait. At the end of every day, I write down 3-5 top items that need to be done the next day. Helps me feel like I’m not starting behind.

I really need to get into this habit as that can help a lot, it can sometimes just get overbearing with so many tasks needing done asap.
What’s helped me most is getting ruthless about what is actually urgent vs what just feels urgent. When everything feels high stakes, I’ve had to force myself to triage in writing. It reduces the mental swirl. (ADHD brain here)
Also taking shorter, more frequent breaks to help reset. Even 10 minutes to step away before the next conversation helps. It’s not perfect, but it keeps me from fully drowning.

Yeah that’s a very good strategy, I get myself in a hole and then never really have a break and that’s probably half of my downfall.

What helped me most was prioritising ruthlessly and letting go of perfection. HR pressure is constant, but drowning usually means the load is unreasonable, not that you are failing.

Good tips, thank you😁
