How important is the font you use on your resume? I’ve always used Times New Roman size 12, because that’s what we used in college. But I was recently told my resume was unimaginative

I use whatever the default is when I open word, it hadn't occurred to me to change up my font choices

I've never considered it, I just go with whatever the template I'm editing was using. I'm sure there's some ideal font to use, but I can't imagine it making too big of a difference. It seems odd to think that they'd call out your font usage specifically since it's not like you were using Windings or Comic Sans. Maybe they were referring to the rest of the resume instead?

Google Fishes…
I have two referrals for a position that I’m trying to apply to, however only one of the employee referrals is showing “attached” to the application. I accepted both employee referrals and they both show under my google account, but for the specific job application (which hasn’t been submitted yet) that one referral just won’t show up!!

Anyone know why or a solution?
