Does anyone really think the role of CCO, GCD, CD and even ACD is necessary anymore? How about just people that do actual work collaborating and doing great work? Take those inflated positions and hire more creatives that do work or pay the ones who do it more money. In my experience, eliminating those positions never made the work suffer. In fact it’s a more streamlined process.
I got an interview for an in-house CD role. I’ve only freelanced as a CD before and have 8 years of experience. I really wanna nail this. Any tips?

I’m looking to move up to an ACD position. What does a CD look for in their ACD? What does the position entail at different agencies?
Did you come to your current position wanting to be that or just doing a good job? Especially asking ACD / CD / GCD / CCO / VPs / etc
Besides hiring a new actually talented creative director, how have earned PR peeps explained “mediability” to creatives? I feel like mine keeps giving us the most mediocre ideas then gets super defensive when we try to explain why they won’t work.
I’m currently doing a CD role. Clients are requesting me to appear in management meetings. I asked the ECD for an offical title. He said he can’t give it to me, with no justification. What do I do?
I had a very successful video interview with the CD for a permalancing me position and I’m going in today today to meet the team. However, they’d like me to complete a creative exercise (cont)

Interviewing at a tech comp. Role is lateral, but title is “Principal”. Honestly never heard of this title before as my career is on the agency side. Is this title a resume killer as currently a CD?
Is anyone actively hiring now? (Personally, I'm looking for CD or any senior creative/design/CX consultant position — but am curious about any brand/marketing companies.) Is it as dead as it seems?

I am currently going through 3rd round of interview at a tech firm and I’m not sure if the employer is aware that I need visa sponsorship - should I check with HR? I don’t think there was a screen for visa sponsorship
Me and my SO make $320k, we have a child with special needs and we live in expensive Boston suburb, because of the public school system. We’ve been renting 2BDR 1500 sq feet for the past 6 years, our current rent is $3100, and our lease expires in the end of June. Landlord wants to know if we plan to renew for the same price. We can potentially look into buying kinda fixer-upper, ask for lower price or move out into bigger house. Thoughts?
Next Prediction for H1b: if you're not going to the office i.e. if you're working from home, leave the country. Kinda obvious move right? I'm a high five you if you predicted this before I break some furniture and cry in the corner.
Anybody else feel like they're completely mailing it in lately? I've just lost all motivation to do "good work". How am I still like 30 years away from retirement 🙈
A ban on big business’ efforts to merge with or acquire distressed small businesses will help protect markets from corporate control, but alone it won’t be enough. Other necessary steps include bolstering the small business-oriented Paycheck Protection Program and freezing utility payments. And, of course, small businesses will still have the option of combining to survive this crisis—the merger moratorium would apply only to those giant businesses receiving money through a federal institution.
It doesn't matter how often it happens, it kind of sucks when the grown ups go present to the client while you sit in the team room alone 😔

Thoughts on buying preowned Sub versus new? Aside from cost, what are some other important factors?
About to go on a first date post-quarantine. How do people say hello these days on dates? My usual would be a kiss on the cheek but suspect in our current times that’s not going to be suitable. For context we are going for outside drinks so masks are going to have to come off.
