I’m looking at other firms. I’m trying to understand the facets of how to move over from a Consultant level; if even possible. The whole concept is foreign to me, but I’ll admit that I’m financially driven in this choice (amongst other factors). For those of you who’ve done it and are happy about it, how did you go about doing so? Applying online? Network? Direct contact?

Help! I received an offer today (Friday) and they want a decision on Tuesday. I interviewed for two other positions today and one of them wants me to do a second round. My question is 1. Do I ask for an extension from the company of the offer? 2. When should I negotiate pay?
Applied to a role and got asked to interview but I just discovered the salary is lower than I was expecting. The company has a more senior role that I fit which pays what I am looking for. Should I tell the recruiter that I am going to apply for a different role that better aligns with my experience? If yes, what’s the best way to word that 👀 The second role is in my current city so maybe I could mention that as a reason.
Just had a comp call. The partner told me that I started at the low end (masters campus hire) and I am at mid level of the range (top rating). Don't know how this is possible...but feel incredibly bad to be at"mid"
