How does everyone treat COVID exposure notifications? I’ve gotten two in the last two days through iOS contact tracing with my local health department, likely from people at a local fitness studio.

I feel fine, but probably wouldn’t be symptomatic yet. Planning to generally stay inside and get a little extra sleep. Fingers crossed the bivalent booster keeps it at bay.

Why was Cooley so hyped in the first place? During Covid, they did their associates dirty - didn't fully pay their summers and then delayed the incoming class's start date to January. This was at the height of their boom too.

This year, they no offered a chunk of their summer class (and a vast majority of no offered SAs were Chinese nationals) and delayed the incoming class's start date again to November.

How does your firm treat COVID leave? My firm is giving me credit for time off but I was out for nearly 10 days. (the worst version of covid I have ever experienced). I feel uneasy about my November hours as having covid in the middle of the month and the holiday really threw off my productivity and workload. TLDR: Getting over your ex of 2.5 years ghosting you after they said they wanted to reconnect.

I was dating someone for about 2.5 years and then we broke up because of COVID and the long distance was making it too difficult to continue. The break up must’ve been like a 4-5 minute FaceTime because I was very distraught. After we broke up, she started seeing someone else but I was heartbroken and it’s taken me over a year to really get over everything and process those feelings. (Cont.)
