How would you guys feel about working for an organization as an Executive Assistant that says in their job description that I would "provide high-level, overarching executive-level support to the President & CEO, Chief Program Officer, and Vice President of Strategy?" A lady who I know referred me to the hiring manager for that job. I told her I would apply, & the truth is im currently working in a super toxic work environment right now that I need to get out b4 I go insane. Thoughts??

Question for fellow attorneys:

I applied to a credit card with Chase a few months ago and within 7 days I was told it was rejected and they would send a letter explaining why.

Chase has recently calling to say it expired (they said it wasn’t rejected but I was told on the recorded line that it was).

Isn’t this against the law (fair credit reporting act)?. I’m not a lawyer so I’d love to hear your thoughts

I get the impression that many are biglaw haters. With some, any attempt at being service minded and asking "have you thought about X, we can help" makes them whine about scope and costs.

One GC I worked with even had on their resume (OP wanted resumes of key employees) as one of their skills "maximizing value of internal and external legal advice while minimizing cost"

One of my friend has received an inquiry email from capgemini that it has been found that he is moonlighting. has anyone has received a similar email ? He is just working with capgemini only and is currently serving notice period and was expecting to leave by start of january 2023. Is capgemini harassing the guy ? Has anyone else got the same email ?

Currently interviewing and have been rejected by a lot of companies. This is either because I failed some assessment of theirs or fucked up their interview. I feel rejected and super depressed.. Any advice?
