I am currently a Senior associate in private in Real Estate Tax. I worked at big 4 (PwC and EY) for 4 years (2 as associate and 2 as senior) and switched to private because I was completely burnt, and was just better for my family. I have been in private for 3 years now, and while my WLB is significantly better and the pay is fine, I find myself considering going back to public, as I think the work itself is more enjoyable to me. Curious if anyone else has gone through the same?
