If you get your CSM cert, do you add to your title on linkedin/elsewhere? I don’t want to be that person but I see many other people add it
So I am a CFE and I recently switched to a new organization that doesn’t provide CPE trainings regularly each year like my old firm. CFE requires 20 CPEs per year plus a membership fee & I don’t think
If anyone wants to study for the CFE but doesn’t want to pay the full price for the study materials and would be interested to split it, please DM me
Anyone taken the CFE or CIA? Feedback is appreciated with respect to review courses and prep time. Thanks.
Any recommendations on certifications similar to CFE, but focuses on systems or data to identify fraud?
I’ve noticed that MBB folks tend to take less time out of UG (2-3 years) to go to MBA programs, while other firms timelines are a bit longer (3-5 years). What happens if you switch to MBB? (Continued)
Aside from getting an MBA, what is the best way to transfer to MBB? For pre-MBA roles @McKinsey @Bain @BCG coming from Tier 2
I’m considering an MBA, and am confused on my chances based on some of the posts here. I have a 3.2 Engr UG, work in analytics (strategy & architecture), and help the IT dept of NGO with data strategy
Can the group members please share their experience about the CFE exam? How many days of preparation does it require? What are some of the useful study resources?
Any auditors in here get their CFE after you already passed your CPA? Did your firm pay you more for it?
Has anyone used PracticeDump to study for CFE? Is it legit? I’m thinking of getting it since it’s so much cheaper than the one offered by ACFE website
What's the job outlook like for Fraud and Forensic accounting? Thinking about getting in, currently working on my CFE.
I am diverse (Hispanic/Spanish). I hold the following CPA,CFE, and CFA lvl 3 cand. but still my team assigns me the areas of the audit (admin) like SDC liason, confirms, etc. Already talked to my Part
Is distance MBA/ MCA course from IGNOU or similar institute a good option for BCA/BSc grads to climb the ladder or get better pay? If anyone has pursued similar path, do share the experience.
As anyone had luck with changing the coding of a charge on the CSR? Something didn’t go through as travel that definitely should have in my opinion
Admissions interview with a Kellogg alum on Friday. Any other alums/current students have any advice on what to expect beyond the usual?
Can anyone provide insight as to how much big 4 audit managers make in NYC? Getting industry offers at 95-100k and am wondering if it’s worth it to stay until I make manager.
Just wondering how many people here have already received their kellogg interview invite? I'm in SF and selected off-campus, but haven't heard anything yet. I know almost everyone is interviewed but getting some anxiety about it!
I've been reading many articles about the toll of COVID-19 on the mental health of health care workers. It's another long conversation that is long overdue.
I made a spec brand spot for zoom. Curious what y'all think. Sorry for the crosspost https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdjIVK5fjSk
McKinsey has 42 new "affinity" APs... Of which only 3.5 are east Asian... Of which 1 is female. Ughh. McK won't include Asians in affinity week (recruiting events) and we're not included as an an option on the application... But they want to celebrate the 9 south Asian and 3.5 East Asian APs to get credit for dIvErSiTy eFfOrTs 🙄
I really want to roll off my project (first year at firm/first project) my manager has made racial comments and I've been passed up to join workstreams I'm actually interested in. There doesn't seem to be an end date in sight. Any ideas?
Finally lost my mind after two years and told an inept superior to “shut the fuck up” in a meeting. Pretty sure I’m going to be fired after this awkwardly silent last couple hours...
Is anyone hiring just PM's these days or are we all moving into hybrid roles? Seeing postings for AM/PM, PM/Strategist, PM/Producer and (my fave) PM/Exec Assistant and it makes me weep
